Apogee Buckeye Lake serves heroes based off age ranges and readiness to class up. We currently offer a Hobbit studio (approximately ages 4-7) and a Quest studio (approximately ages 8-11). This roughly equates to pre-k through grade 5 in public school.

The tuition per hero is $9,750 per year. Payments can be made in full for a 5% discount, or over a 10 month period for $975/month.  

Yes! With every full priced hero, your subsequent heroes can attend at a percentage discount. 

Under the state of Ohio, we are designated as a homeschool. Physically, we are located in a building outside of a home. Your child will be registered as a homeschooler, allowing the flexibility and freedom for each young hero to learn on their individual timelines. 

We respect and incorporate Maria Montessori’s philosophy, but we are not a Montessori school. We incorporate Montessori methods, engage in Socratic discussions, and use the latest interactive technologies and hands on projects to engage each hero and create self-motivated life long learners.

We opt to use the term "hero," stemming from the hero's journey. While a student is conventionally perceived as being taught in the traditional educational setting, a hero forges their own path. We firmly believe that each individual possesses a unique calling in life, alongside a succession of trials and tests that demand integrity and purpose to lead to a fulfilling existence. Our mission is to equip your child for their distinct journey ahead.

At Apogee Buckeye Lake we believe in learning to be, and learning to do, and an important part of this is encouraging kids to take responsibility for their own behavior and hold those around them to a high standard. When something isn’t working, we want our heroes to work together to solve the problem, not look for an adult to solve it for them. This creates a sense of independence and confidence that will serve them well in all areas of life.
